Sports and Recreational Opportunities
Less than a mile from the park is the Flying Eagle Preserve where there are 13 miles of trails for exploring. The Flying Eagle Preserve is connected to the Withlacoochee River & Tsala Apopka Chain of Lakes. For Hunting Enthusiasts, the Preserve is closed to the General Public for a few days in January & permitted for hunting feral hogs.
